found footage ne demek?

''Found footage'' veya buluntu film, kurgusal bir filmin tamamının ya da önemli bir bölümünün film ya da video kayıtlarıymış gibi sunulduğu filmlerin bir alt türüdür. Ekrandaki olaylar genellikle bir veya daha fazla sayıda karakterin kamerası aracılığıyla görülür, çoğunlukla kamera dışı gerçek zamanlı açıklamalar da eşlik eder. Gerçekçilik katmak için oyuncular kendilerini oynuyorlarmış gibi davranır ve doğallık katmak için titrek kamera kullanılır. Bu teknikte görüntüler sanki "işlenmemiş" ve bitmiş gibidir ya da görüntüleri "bulan" kişi tarafından düzenlemiştir.

Found footage tekniği en çok korku filmlerinde (örneğin Cannibal Holocaust, Blair Cadısı, Paranormal Aktivite, Ölüm Çığlığı, Cloverfield) ölen ya da kaybolan kişilerden geriye kalan tek şey olarak kamera kayıtlarıymış şeklinde kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca bilimkurgu filmlerinde (örneğin Europa Report, Project Almanac, Chronicle), dramalarda (örneğin Zero Day, Exhibit A) ya da komedi filmlerinde (örneğin Project X) de kullanılmaktadır.

Found footage filmleri tipik olarak şu dört sinematik tekniğin bir veya daha fazlasını kullanır: birinci kişi bakış açısı, sözde belgesel veya mockumentary, haber görüntüleri ve gözetleme görüntüleri. Bu dört aşama Found Footage Critic web sitesinin 500 found footage tekniğini kullanan filmin incelenmesiyle belirlenmiştir.1

Tarihi

Olayların merkezinde yer alan bir karakterin yazmış olduğu mektuplar ya da günlükler ile bu tekniğin izlerine edebiyatta da rastlanılmaktadır. Özellikle mektuplaşmaya dayalı korku edebiyatında sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. Drakula, Frankenstein ile Cthulhu'nun Çağrısı örnek olarak gösterilebilir.

Film yapımında tekniğin geçmişi en azından 1980 yılındaki Cannibal Holocaust'a dayanmaktadır ve Blair Cadısı (1999) ile popüler olmuştur.2 Teknik daha sonradan oldukça popüler olan Paranormal Activity (2007), REC (2007), Cloverfield (2008) ile Chronicle (2012) filmlerinde kullanılmıştır.3

İzleyiciye amatör belgesel hissi vermesi, geleneksel film kalitesinin altında yer alması ve düşük maliyetinden ötürü yapımcılar bu türe başvurmaktadır.
